  If you are trying to find historical information about ancestors, you will likely not get much help here. There is a large historical dept. in the basement, with what looks like a large group of volunteers, but they don't allow any hands on, and the person that "helped" us wasn't any assistance at all. The people there largely ignored us, even though I explained in great detail what I was searching for.
  We came 1200 miles to search for my 4th Great Grandfather who got married here, but that didn't seem to matter.
  I guess you have to be a church member to garner any assistance here.
